Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist with various procedures. Duties

  • Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and sterile.
  • Manage patient records, including medical documentation and medical imaging, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Perform routine tasks such as taking dental radiographs, preparing treatment rooms, and sterilizing instruments.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and answering inquiries regarding dental procedures.
  • Support pediatric patients with care and comfort during their visits to the clinic.
  • Maintain inventory of dental supplies and assist in ordering when necessary.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow within the clinic.

Requirements & Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Must have radiographic certification.
  • Proficiency in dental receptionist duties, including scheduling and managing patient appointments.
  • Knowledge of medical coding and documentation practices relevant to dental care.
  • Familiarity with general dentistry procedures as well as specialized areas such as prosthodontics.
  • Experience with medical imaging techniques and 3D scanning technology is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining medical records.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, particularly children in a pediatric setting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating professionalism at all times.
