Full-time, day-shift Certified Medical Assistant position at Skagit Regional Health.
This is an in-person role supporting patient care across multiple clinic locations in Washington state, including Mount Vernon, Mount Vernon Surgery Center, Riverbend, Darrington, Arlington, and Smokey Point. The role may float between departments based on patient care and organizational needs.
Responsibilities include preparing exam rooms, coordinating patient flow, documenting in the medical record, supporting patient care within scope of license, facilitating referrals and prescription refills, responding to patient calls, maintaining accurate EMR documentation, and participating in quality improvement activities.
The position offers a $4,000 sign-on bonus.
Required
- High school diploma or GED
- Successful completion of an approved medical assisting program
- Current Washington State Medical Assistant - Certified (MA-C) credential
- Current AHA Healthcare Provider BLS certification
- Experience with an EMR
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to use Microsoft Office applications
- Good problem-solving, analytical, and prioritization skills
- Knowledge of the healthcare environment
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
