Revenue Analyst

Viemed

Performs a variety of systems administration and support tasks, including monitoring, analyzing, reporting, tracking, auditing, constructing, documenting, testing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting revenue cycle tools and software applications.

Researches and analyzes data to ensure information integrity, identifies issues, and mitigates billing, coding, and process errors. Identifies risks to operations and proposes solutions. Collaborates with managers to correct errors and assist with process changes as needed.

Collaborates with IT staff to identify, recommend, and design continual improvements to system functionality.

Provides daily review and support within the VAMP application.

Provides daily system application and user support, including assistance, answering questions, problem-solving, and training/education. Provides functional and technical direction to others as needed.

Understands and complies with all governmental, regulatory, and Viemed billing and compliance regulations and policies, including Medicare and Medicaid programs.

Requirements & Qualifications

Ability to file, perform accounting functions, maintain records, and understand reimbursement requirements.

Good typing and telemarketing skills.

Basic MS Excel, Word, and 10-key skills required.

General knowledge of government, regulatory, billing, and compliance regulations and policies for Medicare and Medicaid preferred.

Two years of experience in an insurance office, doctor's office, or three years of general office experience.

High school education required; minimum two years of junior college coursework in business preferred.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge of major insurance carrier reimbursement guidelines and eligibility for coverage by third-party payers.

Superior organizational skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work as part of a health care team.

Ability to effectively communicate with physicians, patients, insurers, colleagues, and staff.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
