Bilingual Qualified Mental Health Professional

The Qualified Mental Health Professional/Case Manager will provide Targeted Case Management and Rehabilitative Services to youth with serious emotional disturbances and their families.

Diamond Experience Co. provides high-quality, gentle, and compassionate outpatient services to children, adolescents, and adults on their journey to mental wellness. The QMHP will use a strengths-based model to help children and families build the skills needed to function more independently and successfully.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing goal-directed interventions in the home and community using evidence-based practices
  • Supporting clients and families through face-to-face, phone, or virtual crisis and emergency services
  • Maintaining client documentation in the EHR and writing progress notes according to Texas Administrative Code requirements
  • Entering data accurately and on time, including daily session notes within 24 hours
  • Documenting non-billable contacts and updating client demographics in the EHR
  • Submitting documentation for output and outcome tracking
  • Collaborating with families, clinical team members, court/probation, tribal/community agencies, and other support systems
  • Helping clients with daily living tasks such as behavior management, counseling support, budget management, transportation assistance, and time management
  • Participating in staff meetings, training, and professional development
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field
  • CANS/ANSA certification
  • Bilingual English and Spanish required
  • At least 2 years of prior experience in behavioral health or a closely related field
  • Ability to pass drug test and background check
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, auto insurance, and clean driving record
  • Access to a computer and internet
  • Ability to work independently with minimal daily oversight
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and EHR software
  • Ability to work from a strengths-based, trauma-informed, and culturally competent perspective
  • Experience requirement listed as QMHP: 1 year
