Education & Licensure
- MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree from an accredited institution
- Active, unrestricted New York State medical license
- At least 1 year of postgraduate residency training in an approved program
- For candidates from unaccredited or unregistered medical schools: 3 years of approved residency training and a passing score on a recognized proficiency examination
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Clinical Skills
- Strong patient care, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment skills
- Ability to manage 24–28 patients daily in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Experience with prescribing medications and ordering/interpreting diagnostic tests
- Competency in EMR documentation and charting
Professional Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Adobe, and standard office equipment
- Familiarity with primary diagnostic and clinical tools such as thermometers, blood pressure cuffs, syringes, AED machines, pulse oximeters, glucometers, and EKG machines
