Cardiologist

A well-established, physician-led group in Suffolk County, Long Island is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cardiologist to join its growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a key clinical provider in the delivery of high-quality cardiac care.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests.
• Manage acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions using evidence-based practices.
• Create and oversee individualized treatment plans that support long-term heart health.
• Educate patients about diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive strategies.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
• Collaborate with referring physicians, specialists, and care teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Provide clinical oversight to nurses, technologists, and support staff.
• Mentor clinical trainees, including students, physician extenders, and interns.
• Stay compliant with HIPAA, NYS DOH, CMS, and relevant payer guidelines.
• Participate in population health initiatives and quality improvement projects.
• Help develop and maintain a sustainable patient panel aligned with practice growth objectives.
