School-based mental health therapist position providing psychotherapy and clinical support for children, adolescents, adults, and families.
The role involves practicing independently and collaboratively to manage and evaluate patient care in a behavioral health setting. Responsibilities include individual and group counseling, treatment planning, crisis support, coordination with families and providers, documentation, and participation in multidisciplinary care.
Requirements & Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree required
- Licensed or certified therapist in Kentucky: LPCC, LPCA, LCSW, CSW, or equivalent
- Preferably close to meeting licensure hours/requirements
- 1+ year of experience completing comprehensive psychosocial assessments and providing crisis intervention
- Experience completing prior authorizations for community-based diversion services
- Experience working with individuals and families with mental, behavioral, social, emotional, and substance use conditions
- Working knowledge of behavioral health treatment and dual diagnosis client management
- Valid Kentucky therapist license or ability to obtain it within the next 3 months
