Primary Care Physician opportunity with partnership track in Portsmouth, Virginia.
This role provides comprehensive outpatient primary care for patients across the lifespan, with a focus on continuity of care, preventive medicine, and patient-centered service. The physician will diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, provide preventive care, interpret diagnostic studies, coordinate referrals, and document care in the EHR. Minor office procedures may also be performed as appropriate for training.
The practice offers a competitive base salary, productivity bonus potential, paid time off, medical stipend, license and DEA renewal support, and malpractice coverage. A partnership opportunity is available after one year of employment.
- Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, or Board Eligible and within two years of residency completion
- Prior outpatient primary care experience preferred
- Open to strong new graduates with interest in outpatient medicine
- Active Virginia medical license or willingness to obtain one
- DEA registration required or willingness to obtain one
- Positive, collaborative mindset and commitment to team-based care
- Ability to manage a broad range of primary care conditions and perform minor office procedures as appropriate
- Competitive base salary of $220,000 to $240,000 per year
