Donor specialists at CBCO support blood collection operations at fixed sites and mobile locations, helping collect blood products for transfusions used by local hospitals.
The role includes checking donor vitals, reviewing health histories to confirm donation eligibility, and performing phlebotomy as needed. Work is performed under the supervision of an on-site collections supervisor and must follow federal, state, and local regulatory guidelines to protect donor well-being and blood product quality.
The position includes paid training, paid travel time in a company vehicle, and a start date of September 28, 2026. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with shifts available between 4:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., and overtime may be available.
Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
Preferred: at least one year of post-secondary education in a health-related field.
Veterinary technicians will be considered.
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to comprehend and follow written instructions.
Must possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Must be able to comply with an overnight travel schedule.
Physical requirements include:
- Standing continuously for at least six hours

Starting pay: $19.00-$20.00 DOE
