Provide patient care services in a community healthcare center, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of common illnesses and injuries. Serve tribal and community members in a culturally sensitive manner, coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, and support overall health and wellness initiatives.
The role includes documenting patient encounters, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, performing minor procedures, prescribing treatments and vaccinations, and referring patients to specialists when needed. The physician will also help lead and train healthcare staff and contribute to program development, reporting, compliance, and research efforts.
Qualifications
- Completion of an MD residency program with clinical rotation in Primary Care/Family Practice
- Doctor of Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Osteopathic Medicine degree from an accredited U.S.-recognized institution
- Foreign medical degree equivalency accepted by ECFMG
- Active, unrestricted physician license in any U.S. state or the District of Columbia
- Current DEA license
- Current BLS or ACLS certification
- Board certified or board eligible
- Primary care experience preferred: 3 years
Compensation and perks
- Salary: $250,000 - $300,000 per year
- Sign-on bonus up to $30,000
