2. Procedure

The procedure for RNA stabilization involves several key steps to ensure the integrity of RNA prior to testing:

  • Sample Collection Fresh tissue samples are collected and immediately placed in a stabilization solution. This solution is designed to quickly penetrate the tissue and inactivate nucleases, which are enzymes that can degrade RNA.
